Dr. Deirdre Mason
B.A., M.B.A., D.V.M.
Dr. Mason’s interests include dermatology, dentistry, pocket pets, and helping less fortunate animals. She is originally from a very small town in Massachusetts. She has known that she wanted to be a veterinarian and help animals her entire life. Her family has always been very active in animal rescue and has helped critters ranging from field mice to horses. She has worked in the veterinary industry since 2001. Before joining our team she worked as a veterinarian and medical director, in Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Dr. Mason graduated Summa Cum Laude from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 2007. She went on to earn her veterinary degree from St. Matthew’s University and North Carolina State University. During her time in veterinary school, Dr. Mason studied at the Cayman Islands Sea Turtle Farm, the North Carolina Zoo, and the Memphis Zoo. She went on to earn her M.B.A. in Public Health from Davenport University.
Dr. Mason and her husband share their home with a menagerie of rescued pets. Their family includes ten rescue dogs and two rescued pot-bellied pigs. In her spare time, Dr. Mason enjoys hiking, zip-lining, roller coasters, and learning new home remodeling skills.

Elizabeth has a passion for Goldendoodles and hopes to have one of them one day. You can find her having conversations with our patients or telling Alexa to play country music. In Elizabeth’s free time, she likes binge-watching K-Dramas, spending time with her family, or exploring new things.
